Ned received his Master’s of Business Administration and Master’s of Science in Accounting degrees from the Northeastern University Graduate School of Professional Accounting in Boston after graduating from Hobart College. He also earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a three-year exam process about ethics, wealth planning, and valuing assets. He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1992. Later he applied his analytical skills to become a stock and bond research analyst with Bear, Stearns & Co. and other investment firms. At Trust Company of Connecticut (which is now Key Bank), Ned gained experience in portfolio management for individuals, institutions, and trustees. Ned worked alongside trustees to help them fulfill their fiduciary obligations in managing assets, providing distributions to beneficiaries, and understanding the administration of the trust documents.
